The Hebrew Scriptures tell us much about who the Messiah would be and what He would do. The prophet Daniel also foretold, with amazing specificity, when the Messiah would come. In just a few verses, he laid out God’s plan for Israel, including their return from exile, the rebuilding of Jerusalem, and the Messiah’s death.
